Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

We hope you enjoy your experience with 7-Cal. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible for a return, refund or warranty service under the following conditions.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Return requests must be made within 30 days of confirmed delivery.

  • Products must be unactivated and not bound to any account.

  • All original packaging, accessories, and manuals must be included.

  • The product must be in resalable condition, showing no signs of wear, damage, or tampering.

  • A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.

If your item arrives damaged or malfunctions on arrival, please contact support@7-cal.com within 48 hours of confirmed delivery with supporting evidence. For damage claims related to shipping or packaging, please refer to our Shipping Policy for the required documentation and evidence submission guidelines. Our team will assist in troubleshooting or arrange a replacement only if the product itself is functionally defective. Please note that minor cosmetic imperfections or packaging damage that do not affect product functionality are not eligible for replacement or refund.


2. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return or refund, including:

  • Products that have been activated, registered, or bound to an account.

  • Shipping costs once an order has been dispatched.

  • SIM cards that have been inserted or activated.

  • AI or SIM card subscriptions, digital credits.

  • Mainland China Usage:  Certain functionalities may not function as intended within Mainland China. Use in this region is at the customer’s own risk. Such cases are not eligible for refund, return, warranty, or dispute.

  • Violation of Terms: Where access to certain features or services is limited or restricted as a result of a violation of our Terms & Conditions, such cases are not eligible for refund, return, warranty, or dispute.

  • Orders from Kickstarter campaigns (these are final sale).

3.  Warranty Coverage

Your 7-Cal calculator is covered by a limited one-year warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, or packaging deformation, etc.).

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized disassembly, opening of the device housing, removal of screws, removal or disconnection of internal parts, unauthorized modifications, or repairs. Any such actions may void the warranty and are not considered manufacturing defects.

  • AI service interruptions, SIM card issues, offline files, or subscription-related features.

  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or second-hand sources.

  • Issues caused by unstable, insufficient, or improper power supply, including the use of low-quality, depleted, or non-recommended batteries. For AAA battery-powered Wi-Fi versions, device performance depends on stable voltage output. Problems such as failure to power on, camera errors, or system instability caused by battery quality or voltage limitations are not considered manufacturing defects and do not qualify for return, refund, or warranty service. Customers may be asked to test the device using recommended battery types before warranty evaluation.

  • SIM card or carrier compatibility issues, including the use of non-IoT SIM cards, SIM cards that do not support LTE connectivity for embedded devices, SIM cards with active PIN/PUK locks, or incorrect APN configuration. Network connectivity depends on carrier compatibility and proper configuration. Failures caused by SIM card limitations, carrier restrictions, or configuration issues are not considered manufacturing defects and do not qualify for return, refund, or warranty service.

4. Warranty Process
  1. Contact support@7-cal.com with your purchase proof and description of the issue.

  2. Our team may request diagnostic information, photos, or videos to verify the problem.

  3. If the issue qualifies under warranty, we will provide instructions for return or replacement.

  4. Replacement units may be new or refurbished and carry the remainder of the original warranty period.

5. Return Process
  1. Contact us at support@7-cal.com with your order number and reason for return.

  2. Our support team will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.

  3. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.

  4. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

6. Shipping Costs for Returns
  • If a return is approved, customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is confirmed to be defective.

    Returned items must be properly protected and packaged. If the product is damaged during return shipping due to improper packaging, we may not be able to issue a refund.

  • If a replacement is requested for a defective unit, 7-Cal will cover the reshipment cost.​​

7. Payment processing Fees

Payment processing fees are non-refundable. For any refund, a payment processing fee of up to 5% may be deducted from the refunded amount where permitted by law.

8. Liability Limitation
  • Products returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.

  • Except as expressly stated in this policy, 7BIT LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use or failure.

  • In all cases, our total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

  • We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet the above conditions.

9.  Changes to This Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

We may update this Return, Refund & Warranty Policy from time to time. Any revisions will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
